02/09/09: a very big well done to paul thomas and keith smith who where very unlucky in there semi final's losing 2.1 against shane and will from the castle (b) team.
15/09/09: 1st game of the new season in div 1 away to the belfry (a) would just like to say a big well done to all the players from the belfry(b) who held there own against an ex premier league side all very close games although some would not think so....yes you mr s.... end result 7-6 defeat.
26/10/09: i would like too say sorry for the delay in keeping this web site up to date due to our computer failure, we now back on track so keep watching cheers.........
20/10/09: away to falconwood (b) and we finally got a 9-4 win and it proved to be a good team performance well done all.
10/11/09: lost 7-6 at the fanny on the hill(b) a bad performance overall when the team should have won by at least 4 frames, we now must regroup for our next league game.
17/11/09: well done to the pickwick who showed there class beating us 7-0 in the team k/o 2nd round,even though the score shows a thrashing the games were pretty close,apart from one frame we got 7-balled in(well done paul gafa),mark,alan,john,and esp barry were unlucky not to win theirs,on to the next game.
02/12/09: back on line so web site will be upto date again,sorry about these techinal itches.but i must say we cant start off with any postive news/notes as we are on a bit of a losing streak but im sure the team will put this right,and as the second half of the season is just starting i hope lady luck will come our way because we haven't seen her in the first half of the season.
03/12/09: well some good news at last well done to p.thomas & b.hill for winning their captain&secretaries first round game at o'dowds (c),a tricky encounter with a good start from p.thomas clearing up the 1st game nicely with b.hill putting in some good tactical work,2nd frame p.thomas missed a final yellow and let in the other team who wraped up that frame,but in the 3rd we mixed our game well and put us in good postion with b.hill getting us the foul so p.thomas could finsh the game off by sinking the black .well done.
15/12/09: the good news contunes (may it last),we finally won in a league (its been a while)and to make it feel better it was against our rival's belfry (a)and even lady luck popped in to help us in frame 1 and when we was 6-5 down with our captain getting 2 shots through belfry (a) player snookering himself on the black,so it came down 2 tactical minded players in the final frame,but our player j.butler kept he's nerve and pulled us through well done.
